Justin Smith, the founder of Chameleon Consultancy & Training, brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive background in business development and marketing within the private sector. Transitioning into education over 20 years ago, Justin has played pivotal roles in the advancement of several prominent secondary schools across Suffolk and Norfolk.
In 2017, fueled by a passion for education and a vision for innovation, Justin established Chameleon Consultancy & Training. This venture focuses on providing specialised services in marketing, income generation, and bid writing, exclusively tailored for the education sector. Through his expert leadership, Justin has secured over £7 million in school funding through grants, trust funds, corporate sponsorships, and philanthropic efforts.
Our services at Chameleon are diverse and designed to meet the needs of educational leaders across the board. From independent primary schools to large multi-academy trusts, we offer a range of solutions that include transformative services and enlightening masterclasses, all aimed at empowering school leaders nationwide.
Justin's dedication to excellence in the education sector is evident through his numerous accolades. His achievements include winning the Guardian/ISBL School Marketing Award in 2015, becoming an ISBL Fellow in 2017, and maintaining an active membership with the Institute of Fundraising. He also plays a significant role in the educational community as a committee member of the Association of Business Management in Norfolk Schools (ABMNS) and as an assessor for the Best Practice Network, evaluating school leaders working towards the ILM Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management since 2020.
